Christmas Pantomine Trip December 2014

We was kindly donated tickets by Mercury Theatre to watch Cinderella at Colchester. We chose to take our newly formed Inbetweeners group to watch the performance. We took a mini bus trip up to Colchester where the show was enjoyed by our young peopele and staff, giving us a real Christmas feel.

Children in Need Sponsored Bike Ride November 2014

On the Saturday 15th November 2014 Inclusion Ventures set up a Pier to Pier bike ride for Children In Need. The ride was amazing with all the views and the fresh air, plus the smell of the sea salt and people putting their change in the money pot carried on the side of one bikes. There was pain throughtout everyones body on the way but once we got to walton we had Inclusion Ventures Chef,  waiting for us with hot homeade soup, amazing sausage rolls and fruit. We ate our lunch the set of on our way back to Clacton Pier with all the pain we still carried on acting strong all the way home and finally got back to Clacton Pier and was told that we did exceptionally well and rode 20 miles.

By Breazz (Young Person)

We are currently developing a volunteer mentoring scheme to support even more children and young people during key transitional stages, for up to 18 months. The mentors will be trained and supervised by the Inclusion Ventures team. Their role will be to raise self-esteem and empower young people to become resilient and confident to seek out the services which will contribute to their future aspiration. They will be available to support young people by meeting weekly and helping them with a listening ear and more practical issues such as appointments with other organisations.
